Enduring to the End – Dr. Larry Keefauver

Jesus promised in Matthew that those who endure to the end will be saved. What is it that believers must endure? Scripture warns us that we will face tribulation, suffering, disease, famine, natural disasters, persecution, temptations, attacks by the devil and kingdoms of the world…even martyrdom. Wow, but why?

I am so encouraged by this encouraging and equipping book, Enduring to the End, by Pastor Constance Whitehurst. Not only does she teach us the biblical truths about dreams, visions, and God’s awesome ways of strengthening us in the midst of many trials, she also walks us through a 30-day devotional journey to prepare us for facing life’s difficulties and problems.

A godly saint, a pastor’s wife in Belgrade, Serbia, during the horrible days of dictator Slobodan Milošević, convicted of war crimes, remarked, “Life is hard, and then you die.” Christians throughout Eastern Europe had suffered terrible persecution throughout Communism and Russian oppression. Yet, they endured the hardships and held fast to their faith. From the early Church until present day, God has comforted His people as they have had to endure to the end.

Many Christians believe that we are entering the End Times that Jesus details in Matthew 24. End Times tribulation is not to be feared the Bible tells us. We are to look up, rejoice, comfort one another as the Spirit comforts us, and to bolding witness to the Good News of Jesus Christ. Constance’s book that you now hold in your hand is a personal and corporate guide for believers. This book will encourage you as you face life’s trials, and you will be equipped throughout these pages to endure to the end.

Enduring to the End is a practical and inspiring guide for you to fulfill God’s will for your Christian walk as Paul writes, “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus” (1 Thess. 5:16-18). Start reading and implementing what Constance encourages you to say and do… you WILL be strengthened in your faith! Be strong and courageous in the Lord,
