Praying For Reign

What if you knew it was going to be your prayers that transformed your entire family? What if your prayers are the ones God needs to move a child or family member into a relationship with Christ? How would you feel about prayer if you found out that your prayers were the tipping point for moving America into a revival? Would that change how you felt about prayer, and the part you play? I believe the answer would be yes.
Unfortunately, most Christians underestimate the power of their prayers. In truth, we underestimate the power of prayer because we simply underestimate ourselves. We doubt that God could use our five or ten minutes of petition because we can’t imagine that the prayers of one person out of eight billion people could have that much pull. We’d all like to think our prayers matter that much, but it can be hard to accept if we are focused on our own frailties and mistakes.
Prayer never fails, but we fail to pray. The main reasons are either we think we are too insignificant, or we are too unworthy to call Heaven down to earth. Let me assure you, nothing could be further from the truth. If you are a Christian, God has not only called you to pray, He has also equipped you to pray. We have been empowered to make a real difference in this world through prayer. In fact, God is depending on us to pray: to Pray for Reign.
